We are thrilled to present two excellent keynotes at this year’s Vagantes conference. Our opening lecture on Thursday, March 21 will be given by Dr. Susie Phillips (Northwestern University) and will be entitled “Teaching matters: Mercantile Mischief and Popular Pedagogy in Premodern England.” The concluding keynote, “Ghostly Manslaughter: Scandal and Literary Production in the Later Middle Ages, will be presented by Dr. H.
