The University of Minnesota and the neighborhoods around it have a number of restaurants to fit your preferences and budget. The entirety of the 17th Vagantes Conference will take place on the West Bank of the University of Minnesota. If you feel like crossing one of the great rivers of the world over to the East Bank, there are a number of food options as well. The University of Minnesota has a fleet of free “Campus Connector” shuttles that frequently run between these two parts of campus (click here for more information).
A list of restaurants, their locations, and their hours across campus can be found here. Please note that many of the food options on campus are closed on Saturday.
Off campus, there are numerous restaurants on the West Bank to fulfill your dietary needs. The list below is not comprehensive but contains a number of our favorite spots (in alphabetical order). If you are looking for places to eat in Downtown Minneapolis or on the East Bank, any member of the Vagantes Organizing Committee would be happy to direct you to their favorite restaurants!
